Chapter 6 – The Grey Colors

There are times when not everything is so bright and blue. Those days, we feel
a little different from what we’re hoping to be. We are aware of the negativity
those feelings bring and the significance too, but despite all, our brain is wired
for us to feel so against all will. I, for one, know every time I felt so come right
after an exaggeration of some sort. In the end, it was almost a punishment my
own body gave me for putting too much stress on the mind. It makes you slow
down, and reflects on things; look both side of the world therefore balancing the
spirits of the mind. There are not only good things in life; there are bad things
too and so we must find the balance between both. Having too much impact
positively around you can unbalance the world of others, and therefore you are
manipulating not only your life, you are controlling life itself. It gives one too
much power and that wouldn’t be fair, and life, is fair to all rules, indifferent at
its core. Its roots are multiple but the reality behind it is only one. They all
connect through different rules and different paths; all interacting in the same
space. Therefore, the grey colors of life give shade to pictures and shades are
necessary for a beautiful finish. You see, we feel negative at times so we can
appreciate more the positive and therefore simplifying our needs. Balance is the
word of the day; you must create the beautiful effect in your life in order to
make your final picture so much better. At its root, the grey colors are only a
product of balance between the absence and the pure of the same definition:
color. We are the same, feeling-wise. ‘’Keep your balance’’ I once read, and
therefore, it became the answer to all of my problems. Whether we like it or not,
our impulses will come out one day. In those days, not everything is bright and
blue. That’s why we must let it be, as feelings balance by and in the end, so do
we. The magic of that moment is the hope we get, for better days; making us
more human than ever. I wish things were easier at times, but I couldn’t see my
life in any other way. I still am who I was and who I will always be. By that, I
will let life be what it has to be and I will be what life needs me to be.
Somewhere along the line, my purpose is much more important than a bad day.
It can only get better from here. It always does.
