From time to time, I find myself in a position where I must restart my steps. Sometimes, it’s related to career, and other times, it’s related to different aspects of my life. It’s not easy regrouping and starting all over. Today is a day of this. I find myself at a road I didn’t think I would be taking and here I am, to my surprise. In these moments, I don’t know how to feel about all of it, or even if it’s the right moves that I am making, but rest assured, I have taken this path many times before and I made it this far despite. I know it’s easy to dwell on unknowns and to reflect on if we made the correct decisions, but truth be told, there are no safe choices in life. Take into consideration that every choice you make is going to be the wrong choice, and suddenly, that ambiguity fades just like that. It’s not about half full half empty glasses, but rather it’s about having a glass and water in the first place. Every decision that you have taken in life has brought you to where you are now. This means that no matter what, you have always taken the right decisions, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to reflect on this. The luxury of our lives and time takes in account that we are extremely blessed and therefore, even if you fail, you are still living a life of luxury filled with blissful moments. I know it may seem hard, but you have to look forward and move forward. The worst that one can do is to walk forward but look backwards. You’ll mess up your past life and chances are, you’ll trip on something in your next life. This means that you won’t be able to concentrate and focus on what’s ahead of you, which will be critical to the success of what you are trying to achieve. New chapters are necessary for us to grow, and if you think it is wrong to have new chapters, just think of a tree, how it grows in the spring, to lose all its leaves in the fall, and to be reborn again in the following spring. Embrace the change, and even if you fail, you will learn in the process, and you’ll be richer despite the outcome. Nothing stops a tree from growing and even though it may lack space or resources, it will adapt its life to better its survival and growth. It will grow through objects; it will grow around objects and it constantly pushes forward. We are like trees, and trees are like us. In this life, we share our time and space with everything around and therefore if they can survive, so will we.

The tree of life is nothing but a strife. Life is much more complex than that.
