Chapter 23 – When You Think You Are Screwed

It doesn’t get any easier. Truth be told, it all relative to your life. Some have easier lives; some others have much difficult ones. There are no rules to this, however being prepared does help lean the positive to your side. I have been in a funky place my whole life, so to me, I already know how to deal with stressful situations. First, I focus on what needs to be done, and not on the facts themselves. Facts might tell you one thing; however, it doesn’t fix the issue therefore why focus on them? Facts can clarify what you need to do, but other than that, it doesn’t serve much to be constantly contemplating on the issue. It might be constant struggle, but the pain does get easier, and the tasks ahead does eventually fade out. The most important? It’s never to give up, and always to be going forward. The moment you stop working, is the moment you stop advancing in your issues. So, what are the issues then? It could be as simple as not feeling fulfilled, or as complex as to not being able to pay off outstanding debts caused by mistakes. Let’s face it, most people have money issues or stresses, and it is the fundamental of all problems almost. In these situations, there is one thing to do, and that is to be proactive. Think about how to fix the problem, and try absolutely every route before you give up. I once had a 12,500.00$ bill to pay in exactly 29 days, and literarily, I have exhausted every option before giving up. I have managed in the day to make that money on the side, by being highly creative and really pushing it, however it wasn’t easy. It wasn’t easy, and it made me sick to my stomach at times, however I held on to what I needed to do, and I stopped at nothing. I filtered feeling bad, feeling like I’m not giving enough time to people around me, feeling tired, or feeling like I owe anybody an explanation. In my perspective, it needed to be done, and whatever distraction people felt they owned me, I figured it can wait after as it is NOT a priority. Screw them all, as everybody is quick to point out the obvious and to reinstate why I got in a situation like that in the first place, however it doesn’t FIX the issue. All this talk, is just talk, and by the end, I figured the best way was to just keep to myself and NOT care. Be strong, and keep your head high, as you’ll find yourself in positions you wont really like. You just have to tell yourself it will be better. Mostly, be better. Life is shit at times, but step on it anyway, and if you have to, fix them after too. Your life, your struggles, your rights…
